Reminders:

1. Please bring your child a water bottle that they can keep at church.
2. Please check out our blog site so that you can see updated pictures of each weeks lesson.
3. On the back of your take home coloring page are ideas for you to do as a family to help your child remember what they learned in Children’s Church.
4. Please encourage your child to remember their key concept each week they will get a treat if they can tell their teach their key concept.

March Inner "2" ber News 2009 Part 1

Dear Parents or Guardians,

I hope this letter finds you having great start to the new year! We are starting a new unit on being thankful! The object of this unit is to help your child learn to thank God for the Bible! This unit your child we learn the story of Moses and the ten commandments! The story is the same for the whole unit just with different key concepts each week. They will bring home a coloring page each week that will tell you what they learned about and help you talk about it through out the week! I will also be posting a bible treasure lesson each week on this blog that will help you talk about that weeks lesson at home! Below is the bible verse and lessons for the next three weeks!

This month we are going to start something new in our classroom! We are asking that each parent brings in a sippy cup for their child! If you are a regular attendee and would like to just bring in a sippy cup with your child's name on it and leave it at church we will wash it each week and have it ready for your child the next week! If you do not want to bring one just to leave at church please remember to bring one with your child each week! The reason we are doing this is because we go through so many paper cups just in one week that the kids use for 30 seconds. So in a way you can say we are going a little green! :)

We are truly honored to teach each and everyone of your children! They are a blessing in our lives and we look forward to seeing their cute, smiling face each week! Thank you for trusting us with your child each week! If you have any questions feel free to contact me anytime!
